Introduction to Magick

Listed below are four of the main rules for learning the use of magick:

1) You must know your own true will. The wo/man who is doing her/his true will has the force of the cosmos behind him/her.

EXAMPLE: If you want a better job but don't feel worthy, you can't expect the cosmos to understand what it should give you. You will probably receive a lesson in worthiness instead of a better job.

In this case, magick seemed to have failed but in essense the cosmos may have given you a lesser position to teach you to love yourself enough to receive the better position you asked for.

2) You must have the ability to focus. A wo/man that can keep focused will stay in the flow of the cosmic forces. This allows magick to work and work faster.

EXAMPLE: The wish/spell you performed was for a new car but you keep thinking that maybe a new truck would be better. Then, how can you expect the cosmos to understand that you want the vehicle that would be best suited for you.

The cosmos works on getting a car then cancels that wish/spell and then starts working on a truck. The magick seems to have failed ... OR was the magick just postponed until you can stay focused on the situation that you want.

3) Do not set limits on your power to achieve success. These limits are theoretical not based in cosmic law but created on the physical plane by your beliefs.

Every wo/man has limitless power. Every idea of limitations that you set about your own being and powers is based on the experieces that have occured to you. Every success you have extends your horison.

EXAMPLE: If you ask for a red car but think that it may be to much to ask for the cosmos will not aid you in recieving the color of your choice.

If you have worried that this new car might end up a " horrid yellow" then that is the color which you have focused your energies. This is a limiting thought and guess what color the car will be. Yellow and maybe more horrid one than you thought.

4) Any wo/man may attract to her/himself any energy of the Cosmos by making her/himself a fit receptacle for it. If you set into motion the ways for the cosmos to bring you that particular energy then you make the magick stronger.

EXAMPLE: If you want a new lover and sit day after day in front of the Television. How can the cosmos bring you the very best mate for you. Unless the cosmos breaks your television and that mate is into television repair.

You must do the magick and then set up a means for the cosmos to work then be patient.

Magick is a state of beingness. If you want your magick to shine then you put out your spell or wish and let the cosmos give to you. You must be patient as there is no time in the world of cosmic energy. FORGET ABOUT YOUR SPELL and it will work much better.

You must be willing to accept the prize that you are given. There cannot be any guilt about you receiving what you have asked for. There is a divine rightness in you receiving the gifts you want. Remember that there is no limit to the extent of the relations between any wo/man and the universe.

Be sure to thank the cosmos for what it has given you. You can burn one or more candles or perform a ritual to say your thank you. BUT THANK YOU you must. If you have felt it neccessay to made any bargains for the right to cosmic energy be sure that you fulfill them. I you do or have felt a bargain is neccessary then read law number (3) again until you fully understand it.
